Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle Receives a $10,000 Grant from Field Hall Foundation

CORTLANDT MANOR, NY, FEBRUARY 28, 2019 – The Field Hall Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle. The grant will be used to cover the cost of the daily supplemental meal to its clients for a year. The Meals on Wheels of New Rochelle has more than 50 volunteers who deliver hot meals seven days a week, 365 days a year, to approximately 45 clients.

This grant is part of the Field Hall Foundation’s inaugural grant cycle, in which $274,000 was awarded to eight grantees. Information on all recipients in the first cycle, as well as grant guidelines and important dates can be found on the Foundation’s website: http://www.fieldhallfoundation.org.

March for Meals 2019

The month of March mobilizes hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs across the country to reach out to their communities and build the support that will enable them to serve America's seniors all year long. The 17th annual March for Meals campaign gives the businesses, organizations, governments and volunteers who contribute so generously in their communities an opportunity to support homebound seniors in a variety of ways to make America stronger and healthier.
