Community Champions Week

On Monday March 18, to celebrate Community Champions Week, Mayor Noam Bramson came to meet, greet and thank MEALS-on-WHEELS of New Rochelle volunteers as they set out to deliver a hot noon meal (and optional cold supper) to homebound men and women throughout the City. Every day of the year at 11 am MOW volunteers gather at Montefiore New Rochelle to pick up their hot meals, sandwiches, desserts and beverages before setting out on their appointed delivery routes. The Mayor is pictured helping and cheering on Monday's regular group: Partners Cora Schwartz and Natali Wind, David and Kathy Lakowitz as well as Francis Okelo, Terri Gifford and Maureen Pallotta.
