It's a Miserable Day...

 …but we’re dressed for it!
And our Homebound Seniors are HUNGRY!!!!  MOW Volunteers delivered the meals throughout New Rochelle right up until the roads and walks became impassable. BUT (Mother Nature has few secrets) WE HAD PLANNED AHEAD!!  Pre-storm, MOWNR gave out 2 frozen emergency dinners to each client. The snow came; our seniors had food. And then we did it again - 2 more frozen meals to each client - anticipating the BLIZZARD of '26!  Now our MOW Volunteers are back in their cars, trudging through warmer temps, mixed precips, and longing for SPRING!

Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle Update

Thanks to the foresight of our office team and hard work of our dedicated volunteers this week, our clients will not go hungry during the anticipated snowstorm! Two emergency meals have been provided so that our clients can stay warm and well fed, and our volunteers can stay off the roads on Sunday and Monday if necessary. Stay safe and if anyone knows of a homebound individual needing daily meal deliveries, please contact the office at 914-576-3865.
