After losing her longtime canine companion our 89-year-old MOW client was feeling sad and a little lonely. Along this great puppy that pants, barks and wags its tail - but doesn't need to be taken for a walk - and charmed her to tears!!!

Each May, we celebrate Older Americans Month to recognize the important contributions older Americans have made to this country and continue to make every day. Older Americans Month is a time to honor the older adults in our lives and an opportunity to raise awareness about the issues that many seniors face, like hunger and isolation.
This year’s theme is Age My Way, highlighting how older adults can remain involved with their communities.
